Artist Profile

Ashley Nielsen is painter from El Dorado, Arkansas, and is currently getting her BFA in Studio Art from the University of Arkansas. In addition to her education at the University of Arkansas, she also participated in a week long program at Ox-Bow School of Art in Saugatuck, MI, where she progressed in her love for portraiture and working with bold colors. Ashley has also shown her work in the Sugar Gallery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in an abstract painting show entitled "Looking Into: Encounters with Luck".
